I was surprised by USA speed, being tall helps them grab all the air balls, USA did dominate the game. On the other hand, had Ecuador had Caicedo, Hincapie and Plata on the field the result might have been different. That's the bad thing about friendlies, selections like Ecuador will never field all their best players due to injuries and club commitments.

Despite the scoreline, the US played incredibly well. Considering Ecuador have conceded the least amount of goals in CONMEBOL qualifying (5), the US was relentless and were the stronger attacking side. Great movement on, and especially off, the ball. Finally utilizing Balogun to his best effect, through balls for him to run onto. In general, the entire squad was on it from the get-go, really cohesive display.
