6. I've long been a Tim Howard fan since the first time I heard him doing commentary on a Premier League game. He's awesome. After this, I'm now a huge Jesse Marsch fan. What an interview! He seems to genuinely care about his players. Count me among the new Leeds fans!

9. USA have been awarded exactly 1 penalty kick in the World Cup since 1990 (2010, converted by Landon Donovan). USA need offensive players that have the skill and the confidence to take on defenders in the box one-on-one. It's just the way international football is right now, you need to either possess in the box and draw the foul OR capitalize on the defender's reluctance to aggressively challenge out of fear of giving away a penalty.

12. Look how the country of Argentina are celebrating. Out in the streets for probably days. As soon as America can act like that after a footbal tournament then you can start asking questions like are they good enough to win it. Right now there is nowhere near the passion in this country for this sport

He’s a one trick pony in Leeds (run everyone all over the field and expel all energy and mentality in the first 20 minutes and gamble that it works) and would be the same for the USMNT. The men need a European or South American coach to have a dream in the future
