  1. Can someone help me understand why the guys love MMA midfield so much? Not hatin. I’m not a tactical genius. I just see so much play die in the final third. I don’t see anyone with energy in there. I don’t see brave passing in the attacking third. Is Aaronson and Reyna really that bad at defense that coach can’t make that tradeoff? Please help me understand. (I know McKennie is possibly injured). What about musah? I feel like he’s so overrated. No wonder Sargent didn’t do well. He had nothing to work with.

  2. I disagree that we were without a doubt the better team in this game. If you look at the stats, we did not pressure them in the right ways to dominate the game completely. Our youth showed, is it has during most of qualifying and recent friendlies. This result was very good, despite the emotional roller coaster that came along with scoring first and giving up a pk. We easily could have lost…

  3. Zimmermann blew this game for the US he may as well scored an own goal gifting Wales a tie when they weren’t threatening to score the whole game. He should be kicked off the team for that and too send a message to the rest of the roster to keep focused and disciplined or gtfo here and don’t make us a national embarrassment

  4. It takes one kind of sacrifice to make it to the top and it takes another kind to stay there. the fan-ship and media require the sacrifice of your soul from players. real stars know that they are responsible for the hopes and dreams of a million fans. the players that are second fiddle to the stars are allowed to be human and move forward with reasonable expectations. migrant workers died so that our stars could wage their degree of sacrifice in this one single tournament.

If Zimmerman wants forgiveness he could have taken out a bunch of student loans and join the masses, but these players do not deserve forgiveness ever; they win our fickle hearts over and over again until we love them. this is why the greatest players of all time are subject to so much temptation, they have won too much to do any wrong.

  5. DONT REVEAL THE RESULT! In your title don’t reveal the result. It’s unnecessary to attract viewers and now that you spoiled it why would I want to watch your video?

  6. Completely wrong to say the US were the better team. Possession was the only thing in their favour, Wales had more shots, more shots on target and the most telling stat of all was the XG USA 0.79 vs Wales at 1.55 so Wales should have won 2-1 based on the quality of the chances

  7. I really dislike how everyone English speaking country only ever talks about the negatives. Even if it is one moment on a otherwise amazing game. Like i see that is was bad but its a very hard spot to be there

  8. I think we played well tho we got so predicable with going out to wide. We need to get better with playing in the center more. The team postions are good but the passing need to more clean so we gain the center confidence.

  9. The Americans will qualify behind England in the group leaving Wales third. The Welsh will start to choke in the next couple of matches given the pressure of a 64 year absence and the expectations to perform. England will smash them and Iran will probably get a draw with Wales. cheer up Yanks because you're still probably going through to round 2

  10. Wales were nervous and off pace in first half. First world cup for all of them and it showed. But they grew into the game and looked more threatening than US in 2nd half. First games of tournaments are always difficult to call but onto the next game. Good luck US but hope Wales gets 2nd!!

  11. I think Charlie is being a tad unfair to Sargent. Sargent was playing against 3 defenders in Wales 5 back system. No one is going to look that good in that situation. When Haji Wright came on Wales was 4 at the back.

  12. everyone was saying 1-0 “this is great, wales is going to open up and we got ‘em” Nope. Any striker we have, any striker, it does not matter if we cannot get them the ball. Gregg is so late to make changes too. Ugh

  13. The thing that’s most frustrating to me is that Berhalter seemed to think Wales was not going to change anything for the second half. Obviously they were going to play more aggressive and we couldn’t exploit that at all

  14. It’s not what we wanted. But watching those guys in that first half gave us a glimpse of what we can achieve moving forward. Those guys played their heart out. We will have this group of guys for the next 2 potential world cups. The future is bright… 🇺🇸

  15. Unreal that our most talented player didnt even get in the game. Reyna should have either started or been the first sub. Greg doesn't know talent when it is right in front of his face.

  16. How many times under Gregg "we're the better team, we should've won" bad subs bad game management no plan b, crossing and long ball merchants, we have to be flawless from here on out, worst case Wales beats Iran and draws England and we beat Iran and lose to England man I'm not hopeful at all under Gregg

  17. Charlie if Weah played the 9 you would be saying the same thing as Sargent, bc it’s the system we play. As frustrating as it is Gregg said it himself, I don’t need my 9 to score goals but I need him to play his role in the system.

  18. Horrible roster selection and horrible tactics. Like always. Why is Pulisic still taking set piece ! Keep playing Zimmerman and we'll see more bonehead plays. Reyna over Weston at the 8 !!!!!! Hey guys I thought the last roster selections don't matter ? Morris over Reyna ? Acosta over Reyna ? Reyna isn't injured ! Same lies Berhalter used with Brooks. Weston isn't better than Reyna, especially when he's playing like shit for last few games. We're lucky we didn't lose the game. If Wales played Moore all game , a 3-1 defeat !

  19. This argument that Sargent should play because he's played against these guys in England is so bad…he played on a team that got 5 wins 26 losses and 7 draws in the EPL. So even though he's played against these guys, he hasn't played well or played on a team that has performed well against them. He's good at losing to them though.

  20. When jimmy said weah would drop in behind sarge when sarge drops ro the midfield thats simply because weah and sarge have been best friends on the field for years like gio and scally, Mckennie and pulisic along with zimm and miles.. thats what creates good teams they gotta know each other and their tendencies. Gregg made a good step forward but he still has to go.

  21. Jimmy is too positive. A draw in this game is not a good result. Our expectations need to be higher for this team and for US Soccer. We shouldn't be happy to draw against Wales, we should expect to beat Wales and be disappointed if we don't. We could be happy with a draw against Germany or Spain or something, but we should be winning games like this

  22. Pulisic apparently is a “confidence” player wtf is this? Lol this a grown ass man why does he need confidence to perform? In the real world you will get fired anywhere there’s no way ur boss is letting you stay because u lack “confidence” lol 😂

  23. Ok, so now, USA is going to have to score as many goals as they can against Iran (luckily Wales plays them first) to win the goal differential to advance. LOL!!!

USA won't beat England, simply because USA and USA football, since 2006, is built on complacency. Get ahead by a goal or two, defend the rest of the game. Looked what happened in the Confed final against Brazil in 09? How about Mexico 2-0 in the Gold Cup in 2011?

USA never attacks, they defend, and that's the ultimate losing formula in football. They will lose 2-0 to England, and then they have to score more goals than Wales did against Iran to advance. LOL
