  1. Greg is a good coach, have to figure out how to play, give team US there own identity, its a young team, so in the US they should be realistic, and keep their both feet's on the ground, don't think to big ! US have good players play in Europe, but the young players don't have the experience to shine in Qatar, the players need this world cup in Qatar to development themselves to make progress, team US have to look forward to 2026 , Greg Berhalter needs time to development the stile of playing, how he wants it to play.

  2. Why is my country doing this to themselves. I know we like to promote within the organization but come on!!! To be honest our American coaches do not have the experience to compete with A list coaches of the world. This is like putting a minor league coach against a major league coach. Let's be honest to ourselves to be the best US coach in the US really does not mean anything compared to the coaches from the tier 1 2 or 3 coaches in the world, their experience is limited to the US. It is incredible to me that the US cannot qualify in the concacaf. The concacaf have the weakest countries in soccer in the world. Ask yourself, how come the US cannot qualify in a soccer federation competing against nicaragua, el salvador, honduras, guatemala. These are the poorest countries in the world. These countries don't have resources. Why is that?? when the US team has so much talent.

  3. Notice how never once they called out Berhalter on his stupid idea of playing players out of position… all of these hacks at ESPN , FOx Sports will never call out Berhalter he is one them…since the start Berhalter was the wrong guy.. Tata has a resume that make Berhalter look like a recreational U10 boys coach..

  4. All the talk that US Soccer was going to conduct a world wide search was total BS. I'd rather they had been honest and said we're going to hire a Manager from MLS rather wasting 13 months and then hiring the wrong manager.

  5. And then they wonder why Americans don’t enjoy or attend USMT games. If the federation isn’t serious to improve football in the US then I feel sorry for all the Americans that will see the USMT in 2026 get destroyed through their tv sitting in their living room. I am extremely happy that the Canada, Mexico, and US will be hosting the 2026!!! WC. Hopefully Mexico continues to push young players like JJ!,cordova, C. Rodríguez, Mozo, calderon!, E. Aguirre, and J, Sanchez get mixed with veterans to be able to win the WC in 2026 and at least get to the 5th game in 2022.

  6. Jurgen Klinssmann was right. Also just to let you know, he knew the problems that Bayern Munich had, pointed them out got sacked, they hired a manager that got rid of said points from Jurgen Klinnsmann and they won the Champions League.

Also the current Germany National team system, was developed by Klinnsmann, don't forget that Joaquin Low was actually his assistant manager.

  7. Its not that Klinsmann was a terrible coach, but he was certainly not a great coach; his track record with Germany and Bayern (6 months and gone), and now after 3 years nobody is reaching out to him take over as their new head coach speaks for itself, Joachim Lowe was the real coach and Jurgen was the technical expert. Klinsmann was also great in this capacity for the USMNT. The wheels started to come off the wagon with Jurgen's arrogance and division within the team, a USMNT that lacked depth in the talent pool, and the constant tinkering with the set up game after game which also falls on Klinsmann. And for being a genius Klinsmann sure did have spotty decision making; Jozy Altidore, Aron Johannsson, and Cris Wondo to name a few that were well past their prime if they ever had one or way to inexperienced.

  8. Sorry but my personal feeling he's bias since he never make it to highest level ( Europe or South American power house), so he stick with mediocre league w/ mediocre coach. Let be honest – JK may not the be great coach but he is way better than Arena & Greg.

  9. A typical American drama. Always is someone fault , it’s not US , we r perfect! What is MLS = Retirement , soup opera , everything else but not a world class league! 2/3 of the players r not born and raise in US , because the system is against any US player. When we learn to respect World Football and experience , we will make a step ahead! Till then the beens and rise will bring us only tacos , but not a Beef!

  10. did he just blame klinsman for u.s. not making the world cup? That was bruce arena. Klinsman was already gone. And we played well with him, the average u.s. player was fit and was on the level with the European and south american teams. this is absurd.

  11. More trying to figure out what is wrong with the US. They are garbage. The organization is garbage. Was the only choice for coach Greg “no skill” Berhalter? The brother of the the guy that gave him the job. Too many insiders and soccer mom products.

  12. This pushes Media bias of “blame Klinsmann” is old, nobody buys it.
The best run the USMNT has had was under Klinsmann we got out of a tough group in the WC 2014, he finally beat Ghana something Arena not Bradley could do, he won at the Azteca, we had a great Copa America but he ruffled feathers with the USSF and the pundits for being honest.
Arena caused us to fail qualification, we took a year to hire Berhalter and let’s face it he only got the job because his brother works for the USSF.
I can’t wait till Berhalter is fired.

  13. Right off the bat I'm just gonna say that people need to stop looking into pulisic like he's the Messiah of US soccer. That's the problem with that mindset. You are limiting the team's fundamentals by only playing for a certain type of player. US soccer needs to give berhalter time to develop this young generation. Also MLS needs to start holding players performances accountable.

  14. Let's try a game with all Foreign based players and one with all MLS players. MLS is not there yet until they adopt a relegation system and rid that pay to play system. . I'm really sick of these US player coming back to MLS because they know that's their chance of making the team. From coach to MLS players: mediocre

  15. Klinsmann’s team should’ve beat Belgium in the World Cup, but wondolowski (MLS all time leading scorer) missed a tap in. Klinsmann’s tenure ended poorly because the federation and Bruce Arena let it end badly. No doubt in my mind if they Klinsmann finish that cycle, they beat Trinidad and Tobago and get in the World Cup. MLS is and will always be a poor and consistent league comparatively. Klinsmann always had who he needed and wanted to on the field. Whether players get the job done is on them. (Alexi Lalas rant) Klinsmann has always coach with success and coached well everywhere. It is no surprised that these idiots who thrive on MLS popularity drag the guy who said the MLS was horrible and needed changes and until then wanted the best players to play overseas. (They honestly are a sport’s version of Fox News or CNN) Guess what? He was right! Where do our best players play? Overseas. How do you expect our players to improve in a league where the best players are old legends who can’t hack it with the rest of World? 3 simple fixes for the MLS and USSF. Promotion/Relegation in the MLS, Get rid of the salary cap, stop hiring MLS coaches and find coaches who have a proven track record internationally. Stop bringing up coaches who do well in a balanced/poor mans league. These coaches don’t know how to coach with or against superstars and players far beyond the skill level of the rest of the team.

  16. MLS Coach? What about MLS players? Klinsmann noticed that a lot of American players preferred to come home for more money and playing time and what were the results, a decline in the quality of the USMNT. Klinsmann should have just overhauled the team and made it a rule. You don't wan't to challenge yourself and play in better leagues, you don't qualify for the USMNT. By the way, in 2002 , USA got a bit lucky. #1) no one took them seriously #2) We beat a well known opponent to get to the quarterfinals. After that, USA was taken seriously. Look what happened four years later in Germany.
