  1. Really stupid for this race-bating Iranian state agent/ "journalist" to question this athlete's support for Iran based on his pronunciation of the country's name while in the next breath he tries to label all America as a racist nation. Especially hypocritical since Muslim nations were the last to officially make slavery illegal and it still happens in northern Africa on a regular basis.

Also worth noting is the totalitarian government of Iran and its persecution of women and Religious & Ethnic Minorities:

    Quite fitting that Iran lost!

  2. Who cares how someone pronounces Iran. All you need to know this country is the center of world terrorism. If Iran is offended by the pronunciation of their name, too bad. We beat them, that's all that counts. Maybe Ukraine needs this focus on their country instead of the country providing Russia with drones.

  3. He shouldn't have apologized for the way he says Iran.
I bet you the reporter doesn't pronounce "united states'" the way we do when he's speaking Farsi.
Deutschland is what Germans call Germany. In Spanish it's called Alemania. Every language has different ways of saying a countries' name and within the language there are different dialects.
The reporter is very ignorant and self centered.
Secondly, as a poc, we don't have anywhere where near as much discrimination and violence against oppressed people as Iran does.

  4. Lol I guess he expected a black man to be like “ I hate America hmph” naw America is great dawg. Not perfect but still the best country ever. Black people ain’t pawns dude

  5. That was a horrible word salad response by Tyler Adams. Thank goodness Harriet Tubman and Marin Luther King Jr. never sat on their hands and uttered tired clichés like, "there is discrimination everywhere you go." The journalist was right to admonish Tyler Adams. Tyler Adams has a moral compass when it comes to Iran, but he is quiet as a church mouse about the continued disenfranchisement of African-Americans.

  6. It was such a gotcha question but he didn't get Tyler Adams at all.

And what a stonkingly-disingenuous question from the journalist. If he wanted to be clever, the thing to say is that the current regime in Iran was a reaction to repeated Western destabilisation throughout the 20th century. However, you can't defend Iran on moral grounds, only religious ones.

  7. If that was me I would of asked the journalist if he was ok with representing his SHIT country that discriminates against women, and kills innocent everyday. They are fascist and most of their people would love to be US citizens
