I only joined the 2nd half, and it was pretty sloppy and players' focus seemed drifted. That could be the result of Nigeria's physical play throughout the match. Need to get accustom to it since other teams will now employ similar tactics.
The first (own) goal states the importance of early pass and good combo prior. Didn't see these type of passes in the 2nd half, at least not to my memory. Overall passing decisions need to be quicker.
Defense in the 2nd half was not good. Cook and Huerta were beaten too easily. Pugh did well and would love see more of her pairing with Sanchez (meaning Smith will be from the bench).
As of now, the team was not ready to win the world cup, but it's about peaking at the right time. So there is work left and need to stay healthy.
