  1. Funniest thing is they get mad at us about "Hand egg" but their own freaking "hand egg" sport Rugby has their main league called… wait for it… ENGLISH RUGBY FOOTBALL UNION… HAND EGG!

  2. European “Association Football” fans are so Butt Hurt by the awkward etymology of “American Football” and can’t seem to wrap your heads around such a simple issue that Your English Aristocracy coined the term “Soccer” over a century ago. Since so few non-Americans play our “Football” or Baseball or NASCAR for example, would it help you if we added a redundant “American” adjective to the sports “American Baseball”, “American NASCAR”, etc? C’mon, Old World- grow up already.

  3. I’ll be honest I rather call it football but everyone would think I’m talking about American football so I have to call it soccer and I might have to get used to saying football

  4. Hungary – So in better english classes they teach it like soccer. They dont have problem if u call it football but they say its not the best term. I would say 99% of actual soccer players call it football tho but I always call it soccer cus I like to annoy them lol. Have been doing kickboxing since I was 6 and the combat sport community tand to rant a bit about soccer at times. Maybe thats the reason

  5. so basically, a “sport” where you carry an egg in your hand with dinner plates in your shoulders running away from zach efron and his team on a field with goals looking like forks without the middle, football

  6. Since they don't foot the ball, but kick it. Why not let's say call it, kickball or fieldball. In the USA the game can be gridball. The English gripe about the the name soccer, when they named it that. There was soccer, rugby and football. In the USA, the ball use too be kicked more in the begining. Now they throw more, so throw and run ball maybe. How about calling it violent ball.

  7. Honestly, I don’t wanna hear anything about why something is called something by the UK. Considering the fact that people in the UK call an eraser a “Rubber”
