Men’s soccer sucks because of Title IX. Affirmative action for scholarships and gender in collegiate sports, basically. Overwhelming majority opted to keep football, delete men’s soccer and add women’s. Literally then only reason we’re this bad. Absolute myth that America hates soccer, boys just don’t really have a professional path. It’s all politics and money as it stands with Olympic Development Squads and limited D1 programs.
Central Americans and Mexicans are awful at soccer.
